Music specially arranged

Clients are invited to ask about having a piece specially arranged. This will be done either by a member of the "Two 'Cellos" team, or by one of our arrangers. Recent commissions include "Have I told You Lately", sung by Rod Stewart with words and music by Van Morrison; "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" by Elton John"You Sexy Thing" from 'The Full Monty' and "All you need is Love"by the Beatles. The cost of this service relates to the time involved.

About the Ensemble:

"Two 'Cellos" was formed some twenty years ago and has enjoyed a growing success as an ensemble offering an exciting alternative to the more conventional choice of the String Quartet, Harp or Piano.

Like all classically trained musicians, they worked initially in the conventional world of recitals and the concert hall, but made the decision, some years ago, to become more commercially orientated. This meant huge changes in both their repertoire and the way they worked.

They have been fortunate in that many highly regarded colleagues have arranged popular music especially for "Two 'Cellos".

Currently arranging for the Duo is Alan Cohen who writes for the BBC, the National Jazz Youth Orchestra, and Deutsche Radio to name but a few of his clients.
